Shannon MacDonald has been elected the new chair of the UPEI Board of Governors.
MacDonald, who is from Blooming Point,has over 30 years experience as a partner with Ernst and Young and has had previous senior leadership roles. She joined the board in 2017 and serves as chair on the University’s Presidential Search Committee. She graduated from UPEI in 1990 and also received a Master of Health Science degree at the University of Toronto.
