Federal investment of $1.2M to support expansion for Tronosjet Maintenance in Slemon Park and Charlottetown

Egmont MP Bobby Morrissey has announced a total investment of $1.2-million to Tronosjet Maintenance Inc through ACOA for three projects that will support an expansion of its operations in both Slemon Park and Charlottetown.  A loan of $975-thousand will support a 2,400-square-foot expansion of the company’s manufacturing facility, the addition of solar panels, and the acquisition of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. A repayable contribution of $187-thousand will help with the purchase of specialized aircraft tooling equipment. A non-repayable contribution of $50,000 is for the hiring of a dedicated quality assurance and control specialist.
