The provincial government has posted online satellite images showing the damage to forests caused last fall by post-tropical storm Fiona.
Environment Minister Steven Myers issued a statement yesterday saying imagery is available for 12 of 16 affected areas.
In the 12 areas photographed, more than 317 square kilometres of forests were affected by the storm last September.
Myers says the images will help the provincial government and landowners understand the full impact of Fiona and plan for the future.
