Driver injured after truck tipped over at North River Roundabout

Queens District RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash at 9:50 am on Tuesday at the North River Roundabout near the North River Fire Department. In the crash, a truck carrying a large amount of water tipped over.  A 38 year-old man was rescued from the truck and taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries. The North River Fire Department, Island EMS, Department of Transportation were deployed to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
