Residents rally Thursday on land use issues

A rally was held outside the PEI legislature on Thursday regarding land use issues, including the Point Deroche development.  The rally was organized by the Coalition for the Protection of PEI Lands, and residents were demanding more action on land protection.  Premier Dennis King did come out and meet with those taking part in the rally.  King told them that he would examine the current land protection policies.
