There were increases Friday in gas, furnace oil, and diesel prices. The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved an increase of 1.0 cent per litre in the price of gasoline. The price of furnace oil went up by 3.2 cents per litre, and the price of diesel increased by 1.3 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 165.6 to 166.8 cents per litre. Prices for diesel are between 157.6 and 158.7 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 101.7 cents per litre.
