Former PEI cabinet minister Walter Bradley has passed away at age 77. He died at his home in Morell on Friday. He served as a Liberal MLA in 2nd Kings from 1989 to 1996 and was appointed Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry in 1993. He was a teacher and principal at Morell Regional High School.
Bradley was honoured at the Morell Sportsman’s Dinner in July, 2015 for his years of dedication to the game of baseball in Morell and eastern PEI. He was a great player and coach. He was also a driving force in the construction of the Links at Crowbush Cove golf course at Lakeside.
Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church in Morell. Visiting hours 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the North Shore Funeral Home in Morell.
