There were no injuries but a fire at a home in Alliston on Thursday afternoon caused significant damage. A woman and toddler have been forced from the home and as they stay with a relative they are getting help from the Red Cross with food and clothing. The fire broke out about 4 p.m. in the home on Peters Road.
