The basic personal exemption on income tax will go up $750 this year and the following year.
$5.2 will be dedicated in a primary caregiver grant. That will provide up to $15-hundred a month for families to keep a loved one at home rather than moving them to community or long term care.
The George Coles Bursary for Island students who take their post-secondary school education on the Island will increase to $3,000 which is $400 more.
