Strait Crossing is advising that, except for emergency vehicles, the Confederation Bridge will be closed to all traffic this Saturday (May 13) from 10PM to 6AM. The closure is necessary to allow for the pour and setting of concrete for the replacement of an expansion joint.
Bridge officials say they are now tentatively scheduling the second and final full closure for Saturday, June 3 from 10PM to 6AM. It’s expected that the work will be completed on June 16th.
