The RCMP say two New Brunswick men are dead after falling off a lobster fishing boat near Lameque, a community off the northeastern tip of the Acadian Peninsula in Area 23 off Miscou Island.
Mounties say they were called to help in a search-and-rescue operation on Saturday morning around 7.30.
The two men, who were 58 and 33 years old, were both from the community.
The Transportation Safety Board and the coroner’s office are investigating.
