RCMP investigates case of racist graffiti in O’Leary

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help as it investigates an incident in which someone painted racist and antisemitic graffiti on an outbuilding at the O’Leary Curling Club sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday.  O’Leary Town staff worked quickly to remove the markings.  The RCMP says the incident is being investigated as a hate-motivated mischief and, should charges be laid, the hate motivation can be taken into account by the courts for increasing sentencing.
