Job action continues for a 10th day on Friday, even as the leadership for Canada’s largest federal public service union adjusts its position on wage increases.
Negotiators for the Public Service Alliance of Canada now say they are willing to make a compromise on their initial ask of a 13.5 per cent pay hike.
However, the new number has not been revealed publicly.
The federal government is standing firm on its offer of a nine per cent wage increase over three years, backdated to 2021.
