Four new COVID-19 related deaths confirmed in PEI

Four more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported on PEI.  The latest deaths bring the number of COVID-19 related deaths in PEI since the start of the pandemic to 100. There were 43 new cases of COVID-19 reported in PEI for the week of April 16th to 22nd, which is down from 85 the previous week.  Two people were in hospital with COVID-19, but none were being treated in ICU.  The average number of tests per day for the week was 64, and 7.8 per cent of those tests came back positive
