Summerside Chamber hosts HR Seminar in response to survey of local business owners

The Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce hosted a Refresh HR Seminar last week in response to the findings of a recent survey it conducted.  The survey showed that 40% of local business owners polled saw a lack of skilled workers as the greatest concern currently facing the local business community. Also, 35% of business owners surveyed reported that a lack of employee retention was impacting their organization. The Refresh HR Seminar brought together Island experts from a variety of HR fields to provide business owners and managers with valuable tools and resources they can use to address those concerning trends.
