LFA 26A1 spring lobster fishing season to open Wednesday as scheduled

A weather call was held with DFO, Environment Canada and industry reps from PEI and Nova Scotia on Sunday, and it was confirmed that the LFA 26A1 spring lobster fishing season is officially opening on Wednesday at 6AM as scheduled.  Given the light winds forecasted, the opening date and time was confirmed.  The targeted opening date for LFA 24 is 6:00am on Saturday.
