City of Summerside mourns the passing of Bill Schurman

The City of Summerside issued a statement on Thursday mourning the passing of its former Director of Community Services, Bill Schurman. The City says Bill was a true leader, a community builder with a passion for sport, recreation and wellness who poured an enormous part of his life into the City of Summerside.  As a sign of respect, flags have been lowered at the city’s recreation hub, Credit Union Place in his honour.
