There’s a tentative agreement between the UPEI Faculty Association and University. The agreement needs to be ratified by the Faculty Association and the Board of Governors, and then the senate would need to approve the “back to class” plan. Faculty Association members are expected to take part in a ratification vote later today. The Faculty Association says it hopes students could be back in class on Monday if all goes according to plan. The strike has been in its fourth week, with the main issues being workload, the need for more faculty members with the growing number of students, and pay.
