Charlottetown Police responded to six complaints of possible impaired drivers over the long weekend, two of which resulted with charges being laid. One call came at about 11:30 pm Friday night of a possible impaired driver on the bypass. The vehicle was located and pulled over on Malpeque Road. A 47 year old Kinkora man was charged with impaired after providing breath samples that were over the legal limit. Then, at about 1:30 am on Saturday, Charlottetown Police responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Grafton Street. Police located the vehicle and driver, and a 23 year old Moncton man was charged with impaired after providing breath samples that were over twice the legal limit.
