Last Tuesday night, the Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit, with help from patrol officers and the Tactical Team, arrested a man on Fitzroy Street outside his home and executed a search. That search resulted in police seizing 72 grams of cocaine, a switch blade knife, baton, bear spray and drug paraphernalia. The 36-year old Charlottetown man has been charged with Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
