The UPEI Faculty Association is calling on the UPEI Board of Governors to return to negotiations without any pre-conditions involved.
The Faculty Association has set up a meeting place for Monday.
The university says it was willing to meet today and tomorrow at the bargaining table but only if the Faculty Association responds to the Board’s recent bargaining proposals.
Members of the Faculty Association picketed outside the PEI Legislature at the Coles Building Friday afternoon asking all political parties not to enforce back to work legislation when the next government is formed after the election.
