Queens District RCMP says three young people who got lost and had a medical emergency in the woods in Tracadie Cross on Wednesday evening, were located and brought home safe. One of youngsters suffered a serious but non-life threatening injury.
The RCMP, Island EMS and East River Fire Department responded.
The Mounties used a drone and police dog services in the search. Police used a digital tracking system to help find the kids. All three were transported to the QEH and later released. The injured youngster was given medical treatment.
