The Nova Scotia R-C-M-P has ended a public emergency alert in Sipekne’katik First Nation in central Nova Scotia.
The alert warned residents to stay indoors and avoid contact with an individual on foot with a handgun.
The Mounties say they are still seeking a woman who is a person of interest in a firearms complaint.
Investigators say they searched a home and did not find evidence of a gun being present or discharged.
