Western Hospital emergency department closed early Friday

Health PEI is advising that the Emergency Department at Western Hospital closed early on Friday due to a lack of available spaces for patients to be admitted because of overcapacity issues. The Emergency Department closed at 4:00pm on Friday and will re-open on Saturday at 8:00am.
