Queens District RCMP are investigating a single vehicle crash on French Village Road in St Andrews. At approximately 7:45 a.m. Thursday morning, RCMP EMS and East River Fire Department responded to the scene. The RCMP says a small sedan left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, a 44-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
