Terry MacLeod, who served two terms on Charlottetown City Council in Ward 2, says he will seek the Liberal nomination in the upcoming provincial election for District 11, Charlottetown-Belvedere.
MacLeod lives in Parkdale and has a wide background in minor baseball and hockey and is a longtime member of the Parkdale-Sherwood Lions club and other community events and services.
He says he will provide more details soon.
The announcement came on his Facebook page this weekend.
The seat for Charlottetown-Belvedere is held by Green Party MLA Hannah Bell who has announced she will not be running in the next election.
