The PEI Sports Hall of Fame has been named the recipient of the 2021 City of Summerside Culture and Heritage Award. The Award of Honour was presented on Friday afternoon at Summerside City Hall as part of National Heritage Week. The Hall of Fame began in 1968 and has honoured the best in the Island sports community for five decades. The Hall of Fame is located at its home at Credit Union Place.
The award was presented by Mayor Basil Stewart and accepted by Hall Chair Paul H. Schurman.
