A landmark in Eastern Kings was gutted by fire Wednesday night. The Bluefin Restaurant in Souris was destroyed by a fire that broke out about 7:30pm. It was well-involved when the Souris Fire department arrived on scene, and the Eastern Kings and St. Peters Fire Departments were also on scene battling the blaze. No injuries are reported. The Bluefin Restaurant has been a fixture in Souris for decades, so it’s a devastating loss for the community. The Provincial Fire Marshal’s Office will be investigating trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
