Restoration work is complete at the Basin Head Interpretive Park.
The Souris and Area Branch of the PEI Wildlife Federation says its ready to welcome visitors to the newly improved site.
The government of Canada has provided a non-repayable loan of nearly $185-thousand for the project to support interpretive panels, a floating dock, upgrades to the boat launch, a new picnic shelter plus improved parking and more educational opportunities.
The federal money comes through ACOA while the province has put $100-thousand into to the project that will help visitors and create more jobs.
