Charlottetown Police are trying to locate the driver of a taxi that apparently struck a woman who was crossing street across Ralden Avenue on St. Peters Road between 5 and 5.30 in the evening last Thursday.
The woman she was struck by a taxi van which sent her over the front of the vehicle. She says the driver came to a stop but once she stood up the van left the scene.
The taxi van is described by police as white with a cab light on top and is marked with a logo on the side.
The driver is said to be white male in his 50’s.
Not details on what injuries the woman suffered after being hit.
